Beauty Etsanyi Tukura has been crowned Miss Nigeria 2019 during the grand finale over the weekend in Lagos.
The national beauty pageant has been one of the longest pageants with Etsanyi becoming the forty-third lady to wear the coveted crown. She won the competition at Eko Convention Center where she beat a stiff challenge from seventeen other finalists.
For her prize, Beauty Etsanyi Tukura will walk home with a brand new car, a new apartment and several other stuff including participation in international pageants.
Judges for the night that contributed to selecting Beauty Etsanyi Tukura as the winner of the 2019 edition are celebrated filmmaker, Rita Dominic, Big Brother Naija contestant, Ike Onyema, fashion designer, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi and Lawyer, Tara Fela-Durotoye.
The pageant has over the years promoted culture and the rich Nigerian heritage, crowning queens that have gone to make the country proud in the different fields. Etsanyi takes over from the 2018 queen, Chidinma Aaron, and looks set to execute several humanitarian projects and in other areas in her country.
Etsanyi is a serial entrepreneur, she is the founder of the online store, Stylish Beauty.
