Mr Eazi is arguably one of the hottest stars of Afrobeat, he sat with Ras Kwame to shares his views on the genre and personal life.
Basically, Mr Eazi has had an amazing and well-established music moment since appearing on the music scene. He is among the many talents of the genre, pushing the bordering for it to become a global phenomenon.
On November 9th, 2018, the Banku Music founder released his second mixtape dubbed Lagos To London, after releasing Accra To Lagos a few months prior to that. The two projects elevated his presence in music to the next level. Enabling him to work with international recording acts and producers such as Major Lazer, and the recent one with Tyga.
So he is in the perfect position to answer the question of whether Afrobeat is the new dancehall, which many believe is true.

He hosts an annual concert called the Detty Rave in Ghana, mostly in December. The concert has become an annual festival to celebrate his works.
