We love Thursdays – not only is it just tone day til the weekend but we get our playlist in order thanks to our resident DJ, this week our editor-in-chief Afua pulling together the eclectic mix of what she’s listening to this week. Here’s what we’re spinning this week:
1. Normal (feat Kojey Radical) – Juls
Our favourite UK to Ghana DJ has done it again with his track featuring newcomer to the game Kojey Radical.
2. Let Him Go – Ayo Jay
He still hasn’t managed to recreate the success of his monster hit Number but this is a catchy little ditty nonetheless.
3. Nana (feat Sarkodie) – Becca
She’s certainly found her king and she teams up with another on this amazing track. Absolutely love the styling on this video too.
4. Fela in Versace (feat Kiddominant) – AKA
I just love this South African chilled hip-hop with a groove to it. I do wonder what Fela would look like in Versace…
5. I Knew You Were Waiting for (For Me) – George Michael and Aretha Franklin
We may have lost the Queen of Soul this year but her legacy more than lives on through her music. This is definitely one of my favourite songs of all time!
