New Tunes Thursday: African Features Party!

It’s Thursday and this means we get to bring you some amazing African tunes that we at GA jam to as we type away on our keyboards.  While some of us abuse the repeat button with some songs, this week’s selection is forgiving. Whether you need a pick-me-up, a party starter or just African music that doubles up on artists with amazing cross-border features, these are the ones to listen to!

Mafikizolo – Mazuva Akanaka featuring Jah Prayzah

You know it always tastes right when Mafikizolo’s signature is on it, this time the South African music group partnered with Zimbabwean act, Jah Prayzah. One of the ‘repeat-abused’ songs in a team member’s list who we shall not name.

D’banj – Shake It featuring Tiwa Savage

Two of Nigeria’s biggest music exports in one jam. This so solid, it must be on your playlist.

Mr Eazi – Chicken Curry featuring Snekabo and Just Sul

The Lagos to London mixtape is a must-have gift from Mr Eazi. It’s a total package! Enjoy the visuals to Chicken Curry from the project.

Kuami Eugene – Walaahi

Ahead of the release of his forthcoming ‘Rockstar’ album, the Ghanaian music sensation just shared this beautiful love song with all his fans. He had a great album listening party where he introduced all the thirteen songs on the album. This could be the album of the year because of the level of quality and hard work placed in it.

Nana Rogues – To The Max featuring Wizkid and Not3s

This song has some of the best minds on it. An instant hit by all standards, afrobeat is winning and this is one of such great contribution.
