It’s Thursday, and it means we get to bring you closer to some of the songs being played regularly this week at the GA headquarters. The week has brought us some fresh, new hits so we had to ‘put you on’ and mix them with some of our favourites.

Here are the songs that we have given thumbs up to, this week. Enjoy below.

Sade – The Big Unkown

Sade has never had it wrong before, that we know for a fact. The Big Unknown is the second movie soundtrack released this year, the song is for the Widow starring Hollywood screen dominators like Viola Davis (Check out the trailer HERE). This song will melt your heart straight away. Awww, we are soo touched right now!

Burna Boy – On The Low

Burna Boy’s Outside album is on rotation frequently at the GA Headquarters, we are not even done with it and he keeps blessing us with hits upon hits. His latest offering is him pouring his heart out in true sincerity to describe his love for the woman he is crushing on. A little secret our Digital editor, Beema can’t stop talking about her affection for Burna. Someone is in love, you didn’t hear that from me!

Mayorkun – The Mayor of Lagos

Nigeria’s latest music revelation, Mayorkun proved his might over and over again. Now he has authored his own album captioned Mayor of Lagos, now understand why so many hearts love him. Keep shining young gem!

R2bees – Supa featuring Wizkid

This is a Ghana and Nigeria connection right to perfection. R2bees tapped Wizkid for Supa, and fans are head over heels with it already, so do we.

Yemi Alade – Oh My Gosh

Our former cover girl, Yemi Alade just keeps making the continent proud with her releases. This song will get you nodding involuntarily.
