The 2018 instalment of Fews Next Face Africa has been wrapped at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. Ethiopian model, Dotain Asfawosen was number one on the night, granting her the opportunity to work with some of the best modelling agencies around the world.

Fews Next Face Africa was set up to discover modelling talents in Africa, help them nurture their skills, and then take over the globe by participating in big-name fashion shows in the most fashion centred cities. The first edition was held in 2017, a partnership between Few Model Management and IMG Models Worldwide.

All the heavyweights in the fashion and lifestyle sectors including Denrele Edun, Denola Grey, Nonso Bassey, Big Brother’s Coco, DJ Timmy, Misi Molu of Hot FM, and ChiomaBBB of Inspiration FM were present. After interviews on the red carpet by the graceful Kim Oprah, guests were ushered into the venue where they enjoyed performances by Aramide and Skales.

The first runner-up is Stacy Wangui from Kenya, and Nigeria’s Morufat Aleem emerged as the second runner-up. Dotain has won a modelling contract with the globally renowned IMG Models, as well as an opportunity to work with Next Models, Select Models, and Boss Models in Paris, London, Spain, and New York.
