The MAMA weekend is upon us, and after todays press conference at the Hilton Hotel Sandton, we absolutely can’t wait for the main event tomorrow! Monde Twala, VP for BET, together with Alex Okosi, senior VP and Managing Director of Viacom International Media Network Africa, are both excited to have the MTV MAMA’s 2016 held in Johannesburg South africa, one of Africa’s dynamic media hubs.

Our stunning cover girl Bonang Matheba graced the conference, looking absolutely chic and effortless in a black wide leg jumpsuit made complete with gold accessories, heels and a sleek ponytail. Nomzamo Mbatha (rocking a stunning orange House of CB dress) and Yemi Alade were annonced to join Matheba as co-hosts tomorrow.

We also got a first glimpse of the beautiful new statue for this year’s award.

Dj Cleo told us to expect a tribute to Kwaito veteran, Mandoza, who recently lost his battle with cancer.
