The 2018 edition of the annual Cape Town Carnival was held on Saturday, March 17 under the theme “Mother City Mother Nature”. Inhabitants of the city and tourists celebrate the unique beauty and diverse cultures of Africa during this time.

It is always a delight to witness these kinds of carnivals in Africa. Mother city as the second most populated city in South Africa – Cape Town, is mostly referred to, truly shone the light on nature once more.

street-side grocers, drum majorettes, queen bees and more were beautifully showcased on the principal streets of the city during the carnival.
