As young as she is, Ruti Olajugbagbe, a Nigerian based in the United Kingdom with her parents and younger sibling has stunned both the audience and the judges well enough to be given the crown as The 2018 winner of The Voice UK, defeating the runner-up, Donel Mangena.

Her rise to the throne was made possible through the self-belief instilled in her by her coach Tom Jones. The teenager used to spend her time playing music and uploading them to YouTube, she blends that perfectly with education and also as a part-time carer.

She wins £100,000 and record deal with Polydor among the several other packages as The Voice UK 2108 champion. Watch her journey to the throne below.
