Afrobeat genre within the West African region is a big deal dominating others genres in recent times with credit given to legends like Fela Kuti and more. New generation musicians are taking the genre to the next level, holding the forefront of the genre so strongly is Nigeria’s Burna Boy, known in private life as Damini Ogulu.

Video sharing platform did a brilliant documentary on the Nigerian Afrobeat musician capturing his rise through the tough music industry to international standard.

Spotlight Story is the name of the documentary directed by Maceo Frost, we heard from his mother, Bose Ogulu (his mother). Burna Boy is regarded by many as the true authentic voice of Afrobeat of this generation following the footstep of Fela Kuti who has always noted as his role model.
