Today CNN Africa has announced the finalists in the prestigious CNN MultiChoice African Journalist Awards for 2016. The finalists were announced by Ferial Haffajee, Chair of the independent judging panel. The annual competition received a record number of entries – 1637 applicants from across the continent applied.
