Although we don’t get see a lot of designers using Dashiki fabric in their works, the fabric has been around for longer time be extinct. Famously worn by our forefathers for special occasions, it found its way back into the limelight when celebrities in Africa started appearing on stages in it. A typical example is Nigerian music star, Wizkid who have mounted several stages in Dashiki in past.

It quickly grew to other countries and gained the attention of international stars like Rihanna, Chris Brown, to mention but a few. Even though we have not seen a lot of stars wore the fabric in 2018, love for it is still intent among normal people.
