This Independent Editorial: Nykhor Paul Brings Alexander McQueen Back To Live!

In an editorial directed by Ruth Hogben, Nykhor Paul pays homage to fashion genius Alexander McQueen for The Independent; the designer who took his life in 2010, and is the subject of a critically acclaimed retrospective at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

The South Sudanese model displays her bare essence, half clothed in each photograph. It’s startling, and different. She flaunts her black assets where there was no Alexander McQueen, as if saying “Alexander McQueen is the only thing I’m wearing”
