If you are wondering how Tiwa Savage manages to keep her skin in perfect shape in the midst of her busy schedule, well she has revealed the secret. So worry no more!
Revered for her impressive form in the Afrobeat world, a genre seen as a male-dominated field, Tiwa Savage has cemented her place, proving her determination to be around for a long time to come. One of such moves was when she penned a deal with Universal Music Group, hence, her departure from Mavins – the label that orchestrated her dominance on the music scene for over seven years, but she is targetting different continent and countries with her new move.
In an interview with Essence, Tiwa did us a lot of good by naming the skin products that she frequently uses to keep her skin glowing, apparently, she sticks to local products from mainly Ghana, Morocco and Nigeria.

“Right now most of the products I’m loving are coming out of West Africa,” she reveals. “I use original black soap from Ghana and natural shea butter to lotion my skin. I’m big on body treatments like scrubs and hammams (traditional Moroccan baths). I have them in Lagos quite regularly, and after the treatment, my skin feels like butter,” she continued.
Nevertheless, she was quick to point out that real and natural beauty comes from within first before the outward one, “Real beauty comes from within, It’s what your heart is made up of. When you feel beautiful on the inside, people tend to see it manifest on the outside. When you are happy, it shows, and it’s also about how you treat people and how you make them feel. That’s my definition of beauty.”
