Virgil Abloh spent about three months absent from Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris, rather the Ghanaian fashion designer was working from his home in Chicago.
Earlier in August, Virgil Abloh revealed in an interview Vogue that he was advised by his Doctor to take some time off. This was mainly due to a long overseas trip, which the doctor says is having a toll-effect on his health, therefore, he needs a break from work for a while.
Hence, the talented 39-year-old creative designer worked from his home, and as a result, he wasn’t present at the presentation of Off-White women’s ready-to-wear collection during Paris Fashion Week.
After months of successfully executing his role for Louis Vuitton away from the company’s Paris headquarters, Virgil has returned. He posted a photo in an elevator at the Louis Vuitton office in Paris with the logo covering his face, indicating his come back.
Furthermore, Virgil Abloh and Ikea have released their latest collection dubbed Markerad, it arrived on the market on November 1. Virgil also revealed he designed most of the piece in the collection from childhood memories especially the chair.
