Isn’t it great when successful fashion brands give back to the society? Popular fashion label Vlisco held a graduation in honour of the second batch of trainees of the Tailors Academy in Ghana. Vlisco first started this initiative in 2014 and the aim of the academy is to empower and create a platform for upcoming tailors and fashion designers in Ghana. The tailors went through a professional and practical course at the Joyce Ababio School of Fashion & Design in Ghana.
The seven (7) graduates are also expected gain employment within Vlisco’s Tema and POI partners in Ghana.
