People have long been saying that the beauty industry in Ghana should be given a facelift. The good news is, more brands have started emerging in recent years and are injecting new ideas, crafts and products into the market.

Numero Uno Ghana, a store selling clothing and beauty products is making the conscious effort to unite the industry to find ways to raise standards.

The first step was taken by the brand was a panel discussion lifestyle series dubbed The Business of Beauty, with well-experienced beauty business owners and influencers such as Stephanie Adu, Founder and CEO of Colorbox Cosmetics, Violet Amo Amoabeng, Founder of Skin Gourmet and Asare Prince Owusu, a Celebrity and Editorial Makeup artist sharing their ideas and experiences during the event, which was moderated by beauty blogger Ruth Nartey.

The Business of Beauty was graced by beauty and media personalities Vanessa Gyan – radio personality at Live FM, Chris Kata – actress and TV Host at 3 Music Network and Chrissy Jones – CEO of CJZ Makeovers.
