Speaking of skin colours, not so long ago, Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika disclosed via her instagram page that she was done bleaching her skin and is back to her natural melanin tone. This came as a shock to many as Vera is virally known for her skin lightning and bleaching antics.

From her caption, the socialite reveals that she regrets the decision to lighten her skin but encourages people not to be defined by their past mistakes.

She also reveals that she had missed her melanin and she’s glad it’s back.

Let’s just pause here for a minute, is it really that simple and risk free to alternate skin colors?

Just like that? There are evident health issues surrounding skin bleaching, there should also be health risks for stopping midway and going back to a healthier melanin.

Pineapple Ginger Smoothie 

1 banana

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1 tbsp. Grated fresh ginger

½ cups diced fresh pineapple

½ cup pineapple juice or water

Blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth.  Serve immediately.
