Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie


Today is Wednesday, we have chosen to crush on celebrated Nigerian actor Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie who is also a strong advocate for women’s right across the globe. She is equally becoming the official mouthpiece for women everywhere and was recently in the news after a touching interview with former First Lady of the United States of America, Hilary Clinton.

 

Kika and Chioma


Other strong women pioneering a change in hair business on the continent are Kika and Chioma – Co-owners of Good Hair Limited. They are busy championing a positive cause to set examples for fellow African women that, it is okay to be a woman and triumph in business as well.

 

Efya


Ghanaian songbird and vocal powerhouse, Efya needs no introduction as she has set the bar high for women in the continent. Serving as a huge source of inspiration for not women alone but men who are in the entertainment industry also. Talking about her reminds us of the single she released not long ago called ’Whoman Woman’ on which she unapologetically laid praises of all kinds on the doorsteps of women. Her new single with Mr Eazi is in the works and we can’t wait.

 

Yvonne Nelson

Yvonne Nelson has for the past couple of months being a subject of hot discussion in the media for covering her pregnancy period so perfectly that no one got to know of it till she delivered and decided to reveal her baby – Ryn Robert. Her role as an influential figure has seen her star and produce her own movies down the line.

 

Luthando Shosha


You can call our last woman the most stylish and lively media personality in South Africa and no one will argue your claim. Who are we talking about? her name is Luthando Shosha. Shosha has never left her style behind – it’s certainly her trademark.
