This year at the London Excel exhibition centre, a 22 year old South African medical student, Rolene Strauss beat 120 other contestants to win the 2014 Miss World crown at the events 64th ceremony.
The first runner up was Miss Hungary – Edina Kulcsar, and the second runner up was Miss United States – Elizabeth Safrit. Miss England – Carina Tyrrell made it to the top 5, Miss Kenya -Idah Nguma made it to the top 10, and Miss Ghana – Nadia Ntanu and Miss Scotland – Ellie McKeating made it to the top 25 list.
