Dernmark’s Queen Margrethe Celebrates Her 75th Birthday, Majestically

Denmark’s long-serving monarch, Queen Margrethe celebrated her 75th birthday on 15th April, 2015, with royals from all corners of Europe present on Copenhagen to share in the joyful moment. It was such a majestic event.The celebration started the night before with a glamorous gala supper at Copenhagen’s Christianborg Palace with of course, glamorous guests. Present were King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain, Belgium’s Philippe Mathilde, Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander of Netherlands, Margrethe’s family including Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, but then the absence of the members of the British royal family was strongly noticeable.

Queen Margrethe, who was awoken this morning by members of her family, among them four-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, cut a glamorous figure in her turquoise dress and waved delightedly at the crowds outside.
