We get the impression, from the $150k dress Lupita Nyong’o wore to the Oscars was stolen from her hotel room in LA [here] that is was borrowed! Hah!
Her tweet and blog about this issue evidently states her stance. Question is, why did the thief call later to say it was fake anyway? If he hadn’t said it, perhaps it wouldn’t has caused the fiasco not botheriring about it’s value.
