International campaigning and advocacy organization ONE has launched a new campaign they join forces with nine of Africa’s most talented artists to create a new anthem that celebrates the power of girls and women everywhere. ‘Strong Girl’ is a call to action for world leaders to empower girls and women in the poorest countries, so that they can lift their own communities out of poverty. It involves thousands of people, standing with girls and women around the world.
All over the world, girls and women are showing their strength and fighting back. They are achieving extraordinary things, despite the barriers they face. Today, will you stand with them? Join the global surge of solidarity that’s starting in Africa, with these inspiring women, and spreading around the world.
Show the world you stand #WithStrongGirls everywhere by posting your own photo version of the iconic ‘Rosie the Riveter’ image to your social media channels. Even better? Share this image #WithStrongGirls you know by tagging female family and friends (men can do this too) and encouraging them to strike a pose as well!
