In an environment where weaves and relaxers are the norm. The Kinky Apothecary’s mission has been to change ideals of beauty in Nigeria and beyond by offering resources, products, inspiration and support to women who have taken a step in going against the norm.

The Nigerian Natural Hair & Beauty Show is a culmination of all their successful workshops and events over the previous years. The Kinky Apothecary CEO Nibi Lawson stated “With the Nigerian Natural Hair & Beauty Show we hope to create a fun yet educational environment where people can relax, mingle, shop, but most importantly, learn”.
